Her Boobs And His Sausage / Sus Tetas Y Su Salchicha

MY COUSIN EVIE is going to groan when she reads this. Stick around and you'll find out why.

Whenever we're in Brooklyn, we go to the Parkview Diner near Coney Island. We went there with My Mother The Dowager Duchess, not only because it's a good Brooklyn diner but, also, because it has a lot of parking. So, although The Duchess is gone, my cousin Evie still drives in from New Jersey and meets us there. This time we had the added bonus of Evie's daughter Ellen, her husband, Allen, and their two teen daughters, Carly and Brooke. One of my favorite families! The kindest, most interesting, and most decent people I know. They drove down in the pouring rain from the suburbs (rural suburbs? ruburbs?) north of the City.

I managed to get great shots of our food and few shots of my beautiful family. I told Evie during lunch that I got her "boobs" in every photo of her food. I promised I would crop out the boobs; although I didn't promise I wouldn't mention them (which is what Evie is now groaning about). However, she should be grateful. Not only did I get a shot of her son-in-law Allen's sausage, I didn't crop it out of the photo.

SAN GERALDO.

EVIE (AND, BELOW, NOT HER BOOBS).
EVIE (Y, ABAJO, NO SUS TETAS).

ALLEN. HE'S SMILING BECAUSE HE HAS NO IDEA WHAT'S COMING.
ALLEN. ESTÁ SONRIENDO PORQUE NO TIENE IDEA DE LO QUE VIENE.
HIS SAUSAGE.
SU SALCHICHA.

  1. What kind of syrup do you use on sausage and waffles?

Jerry would use maple syrup. I would just use butter... but I'd move the sausage to the side first.

  2. Good Anne Marie wasn't there. Her jahoobies would have engulfed, being the stars while she downed that sausage

  3. @maddie - mostly a true statement. however, I don't like sausage...unless it is attached to a human of the male species. did I just hear evie groan again? LOVELY food pix, mitchell; real diner fare!

Fortunately, I don't think Evie reads the comments, just the blog entry... or she would definitely be groaning again.

  7. Okay, I know there is food here, and sausages and invisible jahoobies, but whenever you include a picture of the ever gorgeous SG, I get distracted! I'm not coveting or anything, it's just that I find him to be very beautiful, you lucky man. Allen ain't that bad himself.

  10. I bet open easy parking is hard to come by in NYC. I know it didn't seem like there were many spaces in DC or Atlanta.
