Something Fishy? / ¿Algo Sospechoso?

La versión español está después de las dos primera foto.

BEGINNING WITH THE view from my bedroom window early this morning and finishing with some of what our chiringuito is serving today fresh from the sea.

INCLUDING: SEA BREAM, VORAZ (LIKE SEA BREAM OR SEA BASS), HAKE, DORADA, MONKFISH, SOLE, AND CUTTLEFISH.
INCLUSO: URTA, VORAZ, MERLUZA, DORADA, RAPE, LINGUADA, Y SEPIA.
COCKLES.
BERBERECHOS.
MONKFISH SKEWERS AND OTHER GOOD STUFF.
BROCHETAS DE RAPE Y OTRAS COSAS BUENAS.

I only made it through half of the first episode of "Dexter" (too dark for me at the time), so I don't know what you're talking about. But, given what I saw, I hope he's NOT in Spain!

  3. Oy, again with the fish? :) Okay, mince them, shape them into mini two-by-fours, bread them, bake them (I think) throw in some Miracle Whip and ketchup, and I'm game. I was a bit manic and all over the place yesterday. I'm almost calm now. Hope you're feeling better.

Oy, again with the Miracle Whip?!? The first time Jerry and I shopped together in a supermarket (37 years ago), he grabbed a jar of Miracle Whip and put it in the cart. I grabbed it and put it back on the shelf before grabbing a jar of Hellmann's mayonnaise. I told him Miracle Whip will never been found in our house. I'm doing much better today. Thanks.

    2. I like both Miracle Whip and mayonnaise. One is just mayo with sugar added. It's good on tuna but not on eggs. Balder Half and I are in a divided household. I'm all for the white spreads, he's into mustard mostly. Live and let live. Fish sticks for everyone!

If I wake up at that time, I just want to stay on the terrace and watch the day break.

  5. Alright...I'll admit the monk fish in the last picture doesn't look to bad there.

    Fish are just weird looking...….

I'm a hypocrite. As long as I don't have to be reminded of what it looked like alive, I don't mind eating it. Anyway, monkfish is so ugly, who wants to be reminded?!?

  6. I bet those are all delicious. The sea is much calmer than the photos you had not too many days ago.
