looks like fun!

DeleteA blast. And Judy had a ball selecting them.
He looks good in a crown, always a thoughtful gift idea.

DeleteHe already has a solid gold one with real rubies and emeralds. See the sidebar photo of San Geraldo. My brother-in-law and I bought them for him for the First Quadrennial San Geraldo Day. We paid 40 euros for it, so it that has to be solid gold and real rubies and emeralds.
You both look great! You seem to have so much fun in life!
ReplyDeleteJennifer:
DeleteOh, we try. Between our whining sessions, we do enjoy ourselves.
I've been doing research with ancestry, mathematical evidence goes to the point that if you have a gap of 30 generations, then your ancestor count is over one billion. Makes it almost impossible for a person of English ancestry not to be descended from William the Conqueror, Henry I, and even up to King John Plantagenet.
ReplyDeleteFrom I hear, even Edward III is probably the ancestor of most (if not all) people of English ancestry. So Ferdinand III (through his daughter Eleanor and her husband Edward I) has a lot of greatgreatgreatetc grandbabies.
I know I'm probably not descended from any of the Hanover branch, or even the Stuarts, but I would like to hope that maybe one day I'll find out I was descended from Henry VII

DeleteJerry's famous ancestral connections continued up into more modern times. My ancestors weren't even his ancestors servants.
Festive headgear - what fun! You make a good Rudolf. And, oooh, SG's crown jewels plus ermine; how elegant!
ReplyDeleteWilma:
DeleteThere was lots of swapping going on that night, too. So much fun.
Red nose and antlers becomes you.
ReplyDeleteKirk:
DeleteI thought so.
You all look magnificent!
ReplyDeleteDebra:
DeleteIt makes me smile again just looking at the pictures.
You look dashing in your reindeer finery :)
ReplyDeleteCheapchick:
DeleteI tried a lot of looks. I thought Rudolph was my best.
Looking good but I've head enough of it all now
ReplyDeleteJohn:
DeleteBah humbug? I think I'm done with holiday posts.
Hey Rudolf!! Good to see that SG is carrying on the tradition.
ReplyDeleteJim:
DeleteOh, the kind DOES like his crowns.
I love ermine, but the little beasts are probably being over hunted and should be left alone.
ReplyDeleteStephen:
DeleteFerdinand III's ermine cape from the 1200s came from ermine that would no longer be alive now. Jerry's was from one of those modern "genuine faux" ermines.
