MOOSE (THE CAT) will rarely stay still for the camera. But I still try. The other morning as I sat on the bed, I noticed a rainbow of color shining on a wall outside the bedroom. Moose sat mid rainbow, his white hair aglow in its colors. When he saw the camera he walked around the corner. I placed a nearly deceased toy string mouse on the baseboard thinking that might entice him. Of course it didn't. He just moved out of sight. I followed him around the corner and got one photo. But not before I had bored the cat to distraction (the next-to-last photo) with my pleas.

I SO miss "bloom county"; moose DOES look like bill (aack! ptoo!).
ReplyDeletethe second pix is a good one.
anne marie:
DeleteYeah, I took one look at that photo and thought "AACK!"
Loved Bloom County and I miss Bill the Cat !. . . . THBBFT ! ! !
ReplyDeleteI just showed Daughter a tour of your FABULOUS Katties and she fell in love.
cheers, parsnip
Parsnip:
DeleteThanks for sharing with your daughter. I'm thinking of including a cat pic at the end of each blog post no matter the theme that day. The loves of my life (other than Jerry).
That Moose yawn speaks volumes!
ReplyDeleteBob:
DeleteHe really does seem to get annoyed by the camera.
Although the resemblance in sentiment is uncanny, Moose is very beautiful boy.
ReplyDeleteWilma:
DeleteJust imagine how beautiful Bill the Cat must be if caught at a better moment.... Well, maybe not.
Makes you wonder if all animals know what cameras are
ReplyDeleteAdam:
DeleteOur friends dog hates cameras. He turns away, hides, covers his head. Dudo will pose for me. Moose will tolerate it ... sometimes.
Ha ha, he DOES look just like Bill the Cat in that last photo!
ReplyDeleteDebra:
DeleteYep, my first thought was "Aack!"
Ah the entertainment! Love this eries of photos.
ReplyDeleteJim:
DeleteMoose was just wandering the terrace whining for attention (while Dudo slept). I went out and took Moose's picture and he shut up.
Moose is no dummy. All he has is nine lives and he doesn't want a crummy camera to steal any of the souls!
ReplyDeleteDeedles:
DeleteNah, he just realizes I can't use both hands to pet him if one is holding the camera.
Perhaps he's just one of those people (whom we've all met) who just detests having his picture taken?
ReplyDeleteRay:
DeleteMaybe that's it. I do the same things he does.
Bloom county is back, on Facebook. Cute cats.
ReplyDeleteTravel:
DeleteI liked Opus.
Opus was a role model
Deletewhat a funny and famous cat, is own cartoon.
ReplyDeleteLaurent:
DeleteI'm thinking of starring him in a reality show.
That's one mean-looking yawn Moose has got!
ReplyDeleteKirk:
DeleteThey can look so vicious. Two of the sweetest, most gentle cats you'll find... except with each other.
