Flora and Phallus / Flora Y Falo

MY EYE IS doing great. San Geraldo has had it with domestic work (but it's not over yet). He's doing laundry today, and I finally got up the nerve to ask him to change the sheets. Meanwhile, there's lots of beauty for my eye(s) to enjoy right here on our terrace. Blooming succulents and cacti, one of which looked as phallic as anything San Geraldo could draw (click here) while it was budding.

I MISSED THE ABUNDANCE OF FLOWERS ON THIS CACTUS.
ME PERDÍ LA ABUNDANCIA DE LAS FLORES EN ESTE CACTUS.

No scent on any of these -- that I'm aware of. And they SHOULD bloom every year with luck and with the love and attention they get from Jerry (the farmer).

I can agree. Jerry does all the transplanting (and he can agree, too).

  5. I'm slowing falling in love with blooming cactus thanks to you and my friend Parsnip in Arizona. They're so offbeat and beautiful! :)

I'v always loved them. We had success in Southern California but never at this level. We used to love to walk the desert in early spring. Nothing gray and drab about it!

We both love plants and have always had lots of them. The plants are Jerry's responsibility here and he's so diligent.

On my own, I would do it every week or two (I don't know why i find it to be such a pain). This has been more than 3 weeks!

  9. Glad to read you're doing better! Any time someone else changes the sheets is a good time.
