You have the red eye.The only reason that I can think of for the reference to Soho is because it rhymes with ojo rojo (red eye), cojo (lame), and flojo (weak).
The detached retina
Jerry is lame
But he's learning to clean!
I know you are weak
from the big wound.
Forget living in Soho.
Fuengirola is your life!!
RECIBÍ OTRA TARJETA astuta de mi compadre Luke con un poema escrito por ambos padres, Pedro y Kathleen, esta vez. (Haz clic aquí para la ultima.)
DUDO, THE ART CRITIC, ARRIVES. DUDO, EL CRÍTICO DEL ARTE, LLEGA. |
HE LIKES IT! ¡A ÉL LE GUSTA! |
MOOSE COULD NOT BE LESS INTERESTED. MOOSE NO PODRíA ESTAR MENOS INTERESADO. |
Great poem! You have wonderful and thoughtful friends.
ReplyDeleteJennifer:
DeleteI completely agree.
eveyone's a critic!
ReplyDeleteanne marie:
DeleteWell, at least he liked this one. After a thorough review, he rubbed his cheek on it. He turned his back on the last one.
Uhoh. The cat is a glue sniffer! And yes, Soho rhymes.
ReplyDeleteKMoff:
DeleteHe didn't seem to mind Luke Smell this time!
Moose is above all this.
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect gesture to make you feel better, Mitch! Very sweet of this family to do this.
Love the photos.
Jim:
DeleteThey are the most wonderful family, and individuals. We are so lucky to have them in our lives.
Nice color blocks, cute cats!
ReplyDeleteTravel:
DeleteTongue-depressor art! Yeah, the cats know they're cute.
THANK YOU MITCHELL!!!!! I got to the last picture and laughed so hard, I sprayed my coffee all over the place! That Moose now may be my favorite. Two cats have NEVER made me chuckle so much. THAT FACE!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOf course if you listen carefully I can hear Moose saying Get that camera out of my damn face.
mistress maddie:
DeleteOh, you've made me so happy. I love these boys like I've never loved pets before (and we've had pets I've loved). And your're right about Moose. He seems to get really disgusted with me and my camera.
Reminds me of the two family cats in my life. My mom's cat is curious about everything, the inlaws cat couldn't give a crap.
ReplyDeleteAdam:
DeleteDudo does not miss anything. If you move a piece of furniture, he stalks it until he's sure everything's OK. Moose? Well, he's not usually indifferent but he DOES miss quite a bit.
Such sweet friends! What a gorgeous close-up of Moose.
ReplyDeleteDeedles:
DeleteKathleen, Pedro, and Luke are always just what the doctor ordered. Can't believe how lucky we are that Kathleen found us 2 years ago. I love that shot of Moose. So rare to get something like that of him. When I get close with the camera, he usually turns away.
At least Dudo didn't turn round and raise his tail at it. He has decorum.
ReplyDeleteRay:
DeleteDudo is very classy. Even when he's dragging his butt across the freshly laundered sheets!
Love the multi-media art creation. Dudo was quite cautious, but thorough. Nice closeup of Moose.
ReplyDeleteWilma:
DeleteI love all my Luke art, too! Dudo is hilariously cautious but so curious. If you move a piece of furniture or leave a pair of shoes where they don't belong, he'll stalk and circle until he's sure it's safe (or maybe it's until he's decided the new location is acceptable).
Beautiful art and a wonderful poem! Oh, those cats crack me up!
ReplyDeleteDebra:
DeleteSure am grateful to have such wonderful friends (and cats) to keep my smiling.
Dudo isn't into art, he's into food and thought he could eat it.
ReplyDeleteBob:
DeleteOddly, these guys do NOT eat anything but they're own food -- unless a piece of chicken from dinner drops on the floor. Dudo is on THAT like a shot. But, anything else, they consider inedible -- including tongue depressor art.
ReplyDeleteCard and poem is wonderful
It looks like Moose is thinking food food food now !
What fabulous photos.
cheers, parsnip
Parsnip:
DeleteThanks. Moose was really thinking, "Siesta siesta siesta. What are YOU doing here?"
Cats generally prefer The Old Masters.
ReplyDeleteSpo:
DeleteDudo says, "I know nothing about art, but I know what I like."
Oh nojo!
ReplyDeleteWalt the Fourth:
DeleteOh, ho ho!
