The Art Critic / El Críticio Del Arte

MONDAY'S EXCITEMENT: I had breakfast. I took a shower. I went out for tea. I took a nap. I had lunch. I took a nap. I peed. I took a nap. I looked at the beautiful flowers and I received a get well painting from my pal Luke with a poem from my pal Luke's mother, Kathleen. Dudo apparently doesn't like orange felt bunnies. Everyone's a critic!

LA EMOCIÓN DEL lunes: Desayuné. Me duché. Salí a tomar el té. Tuvé una siesta. Almorcé. Tuvé una siesta. Hice pis.

  1. All so lovely! The orange bunny art piece is sweet as heck :) Dudo's interest is fun to see. Those amaryllis blossoms are still FABULOUS.
    And...
    I'm glad you peed.

Dudo is usually much more interested. After quick inspection, he backed away from the art. I think Kathleen is right; he may have smelled "toddler." Amaryllis continue to be fabulous and I continue to pee.

Oh, retired days at the beach are usually a hell of lot more fun than this.

  3. Wow, it tool a long time for you to have to pee! I would've been in the bathroom right after each activity! With your eye challenges lately, I hope you made it into the toilet bowl neatly. Sitting is best for that kind of thing :) You have special friends and that flower thingy is gorgeous.

I didn't do a very good job of summing up my day. It probably should read: Peed. Breakfast. Pooped. Showered. Tea. Peed. Napped. Peed. Lunch. Peed. Napped. Peed. Napped... Etc.

  4. Probably because it smells like a toddler and that spells trouble! Right here in Fuengirola! With a capital F!

Good idea! Dudo is normally much more curious. Something about the art turned him off. I think Kathleen was right that it had the scent of toddler!

  6. Such bright colors on the art and the flowers - all the easier to see while vision-impaired. They will look even better as you regain your sight. Dudo just doesn't want the competition for your attention.

The flowers continue their show. Spectacular. And you're very right about Dudo. He does get jealous.

That must be it. Although, Dudo would normally just commandeer mine!

Nothing exciting. The only caffeine free they've got is chamomile (manzanilla in Spanish).

Dudo doesn't miss anything but I think he's a bit like you. He smelled toddler on the artwork and would have nothing more to do with it.

  11. Maybe he is thinking, dip my tail in the paint, and I could do that!
