LA EMOCIÓN DEL lunes: Desayuné. Me duché. Salí a tomar el té. Tuvé una siesta. Almorcé. Tuvé una siesta. Hice pis.

The Art Critic / El Críticio Del Arte
MONDAY'S EXCITEMENT: I had breakfast. I took a shower. I went out for tea. I took a nap. I had lunch. I took a nap. I peed. I took a nap. I looked at the beautiful flowers and I received a get well painting from my pal Luke with a poem from my pal Luke's mother, Kathleen. Dudo apparently doesn't like orange felt bunnies. Everyone's a critic!

All so lovely! The orange bunny art piece is sweet as heck :) Dudo's interest is fun to see. Those amaryllis blossoms are still FABULOUS.
ReplyDeleteAnd...
I'm glad you peed.
Judy
Judy:
DeleteDudo is usually much more interested. After quick inspection, he backed away from the art. I think Kathleen is right; he may have smelled "toddler." Amaryllis continue to be fabulous and I continue to pee.
ah, an exciting day in the life of a retired person at the beach. oy gevalt, I should live so long! :)
ReplyDeletesweet dudo!
anne marie:
DeleteOh, retired days at the beach are usually a hell of lot more fun than this.
Wow, it tool a long time for you to have to pee! I would've been in the bathroom right after each activity! With your eye challenges lately, I hope you made it into the toilet bowl neatly. Sitting is best for that kind of thing :) You have special friends and that flower thingy is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteDeedle:
DeleteI didn't do a very good job of summing up my day. It probably should read: Peed. Breakfast. Pooped. Showered. Tea. Peed. Napped. Peed. Lunch. Peed. Napped. Peed. Napped... Etc.
Probably because it smells like a toddler and that spells trouble! Right here in Fuengirola! With a capital F!
ReplyDeleteKMoff:
DeleteJa! I wonder if that's it. He DID sniff!
Next visit get Luke to sign that masterpiece.....you never know.
ReplyDeleteAren't cats SO curious? What cute photos.
Good to hear you are obeying doctor's/SG's orders!!
Jim:
DeleteGood idea! Dudo is normally much more curious. Something about the art turned him off. I think Kathleen was right that it had the scent of toddler!
Such bright colors on the art and the flowers - all the easier to see while vision-impaired. They will look even better as you regain your sight. Dudo just doesn't want the competition for your attention.
ReplyDeleteWilma:
DeleteThe flowers continue their show. Spectacular. And you're very right about Dudo. He does get jealous.
I think cats hate almost everything
ReplyDeleteAdam:
DeleteYou need to get to know cats.
Dudo's just jealous that Luke didn't make HIM a gorgeous work of art too!
ReplyDeleteDebra:
DeleteThat must be it. Although, Dudo would normally just commandeer mine!
what sort of tea?
ReplyDeleteSpo:
DeleteNothing exciting. The only caffeine free they've got is chamomile (manzanilla in Spanish).
Alert as ever, you can rely on D (& M) to keep the world to rights!
ReplyDeleteRay:
DeleteDudo doesn't miss anything but I think he's a bit like you. He smelled toddler on the artwork and would have nothing more to do with it.
Maybe he is thinking, dip my tail in the paint, and I could do that!
ReplyDeleteTravel:
DeleteOh, to give Dudo "paw paints."
