Animal Print Village / Pueblo Estampado De Animales

La versión español está después de la versión inglés.

I TOOK TODAY'S photo while waiting to see the doctor — who I finally walked out on because she was an hour behind schedule (as usual). We still haven't reviewed my blood work or sonogram results.

Meanwhile, I feel great and my hip hardly pains me at all. So, I'm not concerned. Time to find a new doctor. Ours is excellent but she's the only Russian speaker at the medical center and is always swamped and constantly interrupted with walk-ins (while I'm sitting in the examining room, they walk right in).

Today, we're going to visit a historic white village (pueblo blanco) about an hour from us.

Here's someone painted a bit more colorfully than a historic white village. She was standing at the reception desk at the medical center and made the wait worthwhile.

Entonces, no estoy preocupado.

I did! What's the matter? Don't you like animal print and cheap lace?

  2. As Coco Chanel said, take a look in the mirror before you leave the house and remove at least one of your mismatched animal prints. Or something like that.

Oddly, the sneakers are really what did it all in.

  4. A bit much even for me. Nothing worse than being kept waiting.

She needed a more stylish bag, patterned tights, and flashy shoes.

  5. Just where are her leopard-print shoes and purse? Doesn't she know she is incomplete?

  6. Here's my favourite tip about avoiding wait times at the doctor's -- if you book in as the doctor's first appointment of the day, s/he hasn't had time to get behind yet.

You're so right. But we would have to wait 2-3 months if we wanted to choose the time of our appointment. AND... I did once get an 8:00 appointment with her. I waited until 8:20 and we were interrupted several times. A change will do us good!

Henri Rousseau painted jungle animals and they looked really good together.

  9. Glad you have other options for your medical care. And especially happy to hear that you aren't in severe pain. Love the animal prints, but the sneakers put me off the vibe she had going otherwise.

Now I just need to walk over to the medical center closer to us to get another doctor! I agree about the sneakers. They ruined the entire look... and that black canvas bag, too.

  10. We are very lucky to have a doctor who gives each patient 30 minutes max.....plenty of time.
I would switch as well....nothing more frustrating than waiting and wasting time.

Our appointments that day were set for 30 minutes each. But they would take longer with all the interruptions.

Ha! Brilliant. And, you know, I saw her in the cafeteria and the black and white jacket was gone. Oh, all that orangey lace!

  12. Russian doctor? I phoned that nice Mr Mueller in DC to put you on his interview list, what is the connection, Murica wonders!
Lots of people in your neck of the woods have great fashion sense I see that in your photos.

I DID worry. But, she herself is not Russian; she's Lithuanian. And SHE has great fashion sense.
