Pirate Of The Mediterranean / Pirata Del Mediterraneo

I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED. I thought I was going to look like a pirating swashbuckler after my vitrectomy surgery. It's not the kind of patch I had hoped for. But the surgery only lasted about an hour. All went perfectly. I'm in pain and am a bit pathetic. Today should be the worst of it. I'll see the doctor again tomorrow afternoon. Our friend Pedro made us a traditional Spanish stew of chickpeas, spinach, and sausage. We both enjoyed a bowl for lunch. That was heaven. Since then, I've tried to nap, read, and blog.

Day One is kind of miserable. Especially the crappy pirate patch.

  2. I think SG needs to draw a Betty Boop-type eye on that bandage to complete the look. Oops - I just remembered everything he draws tends to look phallic; this could be interesting.

    1. Parsnip,
It’s a good things we don’t have shoulder cats. That would be a no no right now.
