Cons In Fuengirola / Estar En Desacuerdo

THIS SUMMER ON the Costa del Sol, think contrasts. Or is it conflicts? Oh, just think.

Tomorrow, stories about our visits to Vejer and Conil de la Frontera.

ESTE VERANO EN la Costa del Sol, piensa contrastas. ¿O conflictos? Oh, solo piensa.

I figured the Hawaiian theme was a bachelor party. And, yes, the first one!!!

  2. I love these outfit posts. :) My favourite is the artist lady. I may own a kaftan very similar. But I wouldn't wear it with that skirt.

And I bet you wouldn't do your hair that way either!

The group shot just looked to me like a bachelor party. The rest REALLY got my attention.

  4. The first one a'scurred me, but I'm with AM: the group shorts shot doesn't bother me so much.

The group shot was I think a bachelor party. So really nothing to write home about. The others...

  5. Now I know where all the patterned material goes! How did that last guy in plain white shirt and plain grey shorts happen to be there? Did he not get the note about the dress code there?

White T-shirt guy's BODY is apparently covered with patterns. I was trying to get a shot of the other man from across the street. when I saw the shot after, I liked the contrasts.

  6. This is your best selection ever, Mitchell; the diversity is quite overwhelming. I do love the last photo as food for thought with the 2 different ages of the men, both of whom are striding with purpose.

That last photo was aimed at just the man on right with the patterns, but I loved the contrast.

  7. Oh dear lord, people! The group of guys is probably more palatable because it looks like it was a planned thing. Tacky but cohesive, sort of. Then again, the rest of these guys are probably very content with their lives and don't give a flying plaid what others think. Very cool. Ugly, but cool!

I think most of them don't even realize anyone might look at them cross-eyed. More power to them. It's just sometimes hard on the eyes.

I keep looking for crocs shot. They're in hiding. Maybe they're waiting for peak season to bring them out.

  10. In the top picture, it's not just the contrasting shirts and shorts, but look how skinny the legs are compared to the body above the waist. Obviously, you can't blame that on a poor fashion sense, but it doesn't seem biologically possible.

    1. Kirk:
The shape of the shorts exaggerates the skinny legs, too. AND the loafers.

  11. Someone must have told that first guy that younger folks don't even notice older folks because age makes us virtually invisible...so either he thinks he's invisible OR he wants to make sure he's NOT.

Oh, I think careful thought was given to that look. I find it hard to focus, but he must have been very proud.

I think I've added another 5 photos every day. The next fashion post is going to be hard to edit.

  14. Mrs.#1 should be ashamed of herself for letting her husband wear those combinations!!
    The 'bar party' isn't bad.

Mrs. #1 should be proud for letting her husband do what he wants. But she DID keep her distance!
