THERE WAS A beautiful moon rise the other night and I had a lucky zoom and shutter click with another very cooperative sea gull (click here for the lucky sunrise photo). This morning's sunrise was also beautiful, but the gulls had had enough of me and my camera.

WOW! I know you know how fortunate you are to see this out your window. And you have the eye to prove it too! I like what you see, sir.
ReplyDeleteJim,
DeleteThanks. I hope I never stop appreciating these things!
Damn, these are sure pretty! Now this is art! That last one looks like an alligator is swallowing the sun. The one with the gull looks like the sun is opening just one sleepy eye. I love these, Mitchell.
ReplyDeleteOkay, so it's the moon! I didn't recognize it's face with the Trump spray on tan!
DeleteDeedles,
DeleteIsn’t it sad that orange has become a color with such negative connotations!
This has got to be a 'Harvest Moon', has it not?
ReplyDeleteSings "When the moon hits your eye like a big piece of pie that's a more ray....." :-)
Ray,
DeleteI won’t share the version I learned when I was 17 ... when your balls hit the floor like a B54, that’s a rupture. Oh. I said I was NOT going to share that.
Really great moon shots - I always want to take a picture of it but it appears so far away from Western Canada, can never get a decent shot.
ReplyDeleteThat was a joke btw lol, I know the distance is basically the same lol, but that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it
DeleteCheapchick,
DeleteI’m sure we’re much closer to the moon here... The sun, too. Clearly!
That's one shot I can never get...the moon. These are beautiful pictures
ReplyDeleteMaddie,
DeleteAnd here I thought you could get whatever you want. I’m happy to share this.
Nice photos. As good as I’ve seen in galleries.
ReplyDeleteFrank,
DeleteWow! Thank you!
It never gets old seeing the the sun and moon rise (or set) over the sea. Keep shooting, Mitchell.
ReplyDeleteWilma,
DeleteYou’re so right. Some days I force myself to stay in bed... and some days my camera is on the night table!
@maddie - your moon is always hanging out.
ReplyDeleteAnne Marie,
DeleteToo perky to “hang,” isn’t it?
Beautiful photos Mitchell! ;)
ReplyDeleteSnoskred,
DeleteThanks so much. Can’t go wrong with this view.
Amazing shots.
ReplyDeleteAdam,
DeleteThanks. A gift of the view.
Gorgeous photos! Wowzer!
ReplyDeleteAnd, Pedro's dancing was fab... ha!
Judy,
DeletePedro is a man of so many talents! And thanks!
