SAN GERALDO MADE chili con carne for dinner last night. It was delicious. As is his tendency, he decorated the kitchen with the ingredients. When I lit the kitchen candle this morning, the fragrance reminded me of dinner.

SG should start making scented candles of his dinners!
ReplyDeleteBob,
DeleteWell, I suppose that wouldn’t take much effort on his part.
LOVE the sunrise pix! and the boys are ever on duty for errant birdies!
ReplyDeleteAnne Marie,
DeleteThe boys are very busy!
That darn chili just gets everywhere!
ReplyDeleteDebra,
DeleteIf Jerry’s cooking, everything just gets everywhere.
A messy cook? Not in my kitchen buster!
ReplyDeleteJohn,
DeleteWhat he would leave your kitchen looking like would make a person cry.
Everything here (New Mexico) is smothered with green chili. (Also chili here is not the con carne variety). I'm sure there is a gift shop somewhere in this state that sells green chili candles and red chili candles. Personally, after 3 years, I think I've had enough green chili.
ReplyDeleteFrank,
DeleteYeah, that would get tiresome. Oh but I do miss jalapeño jam!
At least it wasn't splatters from a dinner the boys caught.
ReplyDeleteWilma,
DeleteOh bleach! Then again , they’d probably lap it all up...and I hope I never find out!
Hi boys, whatcha hunting? And Gordon likes to decorate when he cooks, too!
ReplyDeleteKnatolee,
DeleteHow I wish the boys had more time to get to know you! Jerry is the Jackson Pollack of the kitchen.
what a brilliant sunrise
ReplyDeleteSpo,
DeleteMore dramatic mornings than not. I keep the camera on the night table this time of year.
Looks like it could be called chili con carnage. ;)
ReplyDeleteWaltbthe Fourth,
DeleteSeems to be the theme lately in our kitchen.
The brothers are easily entertained
ReplyDeleteTravel
DeleteThey are thankfully, because they prefer to be constantly entertained.
What better obsession for the 'boys'!
ReplyDeleteWOW to your photos Mr.Man!
Jim,
DeleteAnd what better obsession for me. thanks for the compliment!
I live seeinglove seeing the sunrise pics since I can't seem to leave my house at that time. I'll do it one day though!
ReplyDeleteKMoff,
DeleteI’m not getting my beauty rest as a result of these sunrises. I stand on the terrace for an hour some days... like today! Could have stood there longer for the entire effect.
Kudos to him for cooking. Hubby is similar, every pot and pan in the kitchen is used for a 2 course meal lol
ReplyDeleteCheapchick,
DeleteI’m grateful to Jerry for cooking. I would live on takeout and microwave meals. And I don’t mind clean up. ... And I love sharing stories of his mess.
Wow. what an incredible sunrise you get to see at the time. Looks very relaxing to see that. Those kitties are going to have a fun day with being obsessed with that hole looking for something to come out. Thanks for sharing the loving photos. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteWorld of Animals
World of Animals,
DeleteHard to go back to sleep most mornings. And the cats will be busy for the season. The crag martins are roosting in the awnings outside our terrace windows and they love to sit on the drainpipe that extends from that hole.
Thanks for the reply. Yeah they surely will be busy for the season. Have a good one.
DeleteOh those MESSY chefs! Can't live with em, can't live without em!
ReplyDeleteJim
DeleteIf not for my messy chef, I’d probably still be a bean pole!
