I WOKE UP just before 7:30 Friday morning to the start of another spectacular sunrise. I grabbed my camera from the night table and headed outside. When I arrived on the terrace, I was surprised to find Moose sitting in the dark admiring the view. I had no idea a cat could appreciate a sunrise.
I wonder if I should enroll him in a school for exceptional cats. (Maybe CATS College Canterbury.)

(Tal vez CATS College Canterbury).

NEVER MIND!
HE WAS COVETING A CRAG MARTIN ROOSTING IN THE AWNING (THANKFULLY OUTSIDE THE GLASS CURTAIN).
¡NO IMPORTA! ÉL ESTABA MONITOREANDO UN ROQUERO EN EL TOLDO (ME ALEGRO DE QUE ESTUVIERA FUERA DE LA CORTINA DE CRISTAL). |
look at that purple sunrise!
ReplyDeleteAnne Marie,
DeleteI should have been sleeping but I just couldn’t.
I think if he could get his paws on one, he's know what to do with it.
ReplyDeleteTravel,
DeleteOh yeah. He caught a sparrow a while back. No hesitation. However he did give it to me when I told him too!
I think Moose was admiring the sunrise ........too.
ReplyDeleteBob,
DeleteI’m sure you of it. The bird just happened to be in his sight line.
Moose on alert. And you thought he had it easy. Gorgeous sunrise. We had a pretty one this morning, but nowhere near as intense as yours.
ReplyDeleteWilma,
DeleteI think there was a fire in Marbella that caused that sky. Later the air smelled like smoke.
I figured he was waiting for the birds to arrive!!!! But no denying...a stunning sunrise.
ReplyDeleteMaddie,
DeleteSo you don’t think my cat is gifted?
Always a reason.
ReplyDeleteAdam,
DeleteAnd the birds will be the reason all winter.
Oh well, at least ONE of you was truly captivated by that gorgeous sunrise!
ReplyDeleteDebra,
DeleteOh well, I had hope.
Until I got to the bottom of your post I was thinking he likely associates sunrise with the birds getting up so was waiting for that. Beautiful sunrise!
ReplyDeleteCheapchick,
DeleteI’m sure he does.
I lie the silhouette of the palm tree next to that sunrise. A really beautiful picture.
ReplyDeleteKirk,
DeleteThanks. I liked it too.
Beautiful photos and love Moose !
ReplyDeleteCan not see the bird nest.
cheers, parsnip and badger
Parsnip,
DeleteSorry. Maybe I’ll go back in and circle the bird. It’s not easy to find. Dead center in the photo. The triangular gray brown shape sticking out above the blue rolled awning.
Poor Moose. SO obsessed!
ReplyDeleteNice sunrise! Do you guys set your clocks back this time of year as well?
Jim,
DeleteClocks went back overnight. We forgot and were out of bed EARLY! It might be the last year Europe does this. Yay!
Couldn't agree more. Just leave the 'time' alone already.
DeleteYou might look into Kit Kat Kommunity Kollege. Ok, they have issues with spelling, but I understand their mouse-katching kourses are kwite excellent.
ReplyDeleteUgggggghhhhh, Walt!
DeleteHa!
Walt the Fourth and Judy,
DeleteYes, ugh, Walt. Anyway, CAC College Canterbury specializes in international students... like Moose.
