La version español está después de los primeros restos flotantes.
THE STORM DIDN'T amount to much here in Fuengirola, despite the red flag warnings and dire predictions. More rain today. A tiny amount is now predicted. Who knows? Maybe
this will be the deluge. Meanwhile, beach clean-up is ongoing.

WEDNESDAY / MIERCOLES |

AND SATURDAY, WHAT TO DO WITH FLOTSAM WHEN YOU GOT SOME. Y EL SÁBADO, QUE HACER CON LOS RESTOS FLOTANTES. |
Wander along and see what washed up, pretty there, windy here.
ReplyDeleteTravel,
DeleteLots of good log art for the terrace!
yikes!
ReplyDeleteAnne Marie,
DeleteNot much really. But the season has just begun.
I once had flotsam. The doctor prescribed a cream and it cleared right up.
ReplyDeleteGosh,I could'a been a comic in the 50s in the Poconos but, sigh, born too late.
Bob,
DeleteLife with Carlos and Life with Shecky!
Happy to see you weren't washed away!
ReplyDeleteKnatolee,
DeleteYour drive was during the worst of it!
Well, that's that, then.
ReplyDeleteDebra,
DeleteAt least for now.
Get yourself some jetsam, a little mermaid and an Ursula and you can put on a show! I can almost smell the air in those pictures. You are really good.
ReplyDeleteDeedles,
DeleteWhy thank you. My photos are done kind of with a lick and a prayer lately. I need another eye surgery... don’t ask... I’ll soon tell... my vision is piss poor right now!
I popped over from Natalie's blog! This looks beautiful! We had a cold night last night, the birdbath froze...
ReplyDelete(ツ) from Cottage Country Ontario , ON, Canada!
Jenn,
DeleteThanks so much for visiting and for saying hi. Any friend of Natalie’s... seriously... any friend of. Natalie’s. I adore her! As for cold snaps, I wore long pants the other night. Back in shorts today.
Different beachwear than usual.
ReplyDeleteWilma,
DeleteYou’re not kidding. I thought maybe I was in the Netherlands!
Yet in that first picture there are still people sunbathing in the distance.
ReplyDeleteKirk,
DeleteIt rained and blew Wednesday morning and it was a glorious day at the beach Wednesday afternoon.
Glad you didn't get too soaked this time!
ReplyDeleteJudy,
DeleteMe too. But I wore less this time so less to soak.
At least Spain is still standing.
ReplyDeleteAdam
DeleteGracias a dios... or whomever.
I surmise folks take the wood home and there is little to tidy up.
ReplyDeleteSpo,
DeleteI wanted to haul a big artful tree trunk up to the terrace, but I left them all for the city to haul away. I did see one of the chiringuitos pick through for some good firewood... it was probably washed over from the woodpile of anoither chiringuito!
THAT was quite a storm by the looks of things.
ReplyDeleteWe are expecting a few this winter as well along the shore here....last year was pretty bad. PArt of the highwy was taken out.
Jim
DeleteWednesday’s storm was worse than Saturday’s, which was the one with red alerts. I wonder what will come.
